Boa parte dos movimentos que estão ocorrendo em várias partes do mundo são apenas manifestações de uma consciência mais elevada que muitos estão experimentando. Algumas coisas que tinham sido aceitas até agora, não serão mais toleradas. Os abusos e falsidades que permaneceram ignorados antes estão sendo denunciados agora, porque vão contra os novos ideais que estão surgindo na mente das pessoas da civilização deste mundo.Muitos desses movimentos são considerados apenas como formas de promover reformas políticas, econômicas ou sociais. No entanto, todos eles contêm a semente de um desejo de tornar este mundo um lugar melhor, onde todos os seres humanos tenham acesso às mesmas oportunidades e todas as pessoas vivam em um estado de verdadeira igualdade.
Muitas outras "revoluções" podem ainda ser necessárias neste mundo, a fim de superar os diversos problemas e quebra-cabeças que se espalharam por toda parte. É aconselhável não perder de vista o objetivo final de qualquer movimento de reforma que é promovido: a elevação e consideração de todas as pessoas como membros da mesma família planetária, como filhos do mesmo Pai.
A única religião social que tem que se espalhar por todo o mundo é a que afirma que todos somos irmãos e irmãs: todos igualmente filhos do mesmo Pai celestial. A forma como cada pessoa chama o Pai, ou como essa pessoa se relaciona com Ele, é um assunto pessoal. A forma pela qual cada filho encontra o seu caminho para o Pai é única e individual.O mundo em que vivemos é um resultado direto do que desejamos e queremos, como indivíduos e como grupo. À medida que o nosso mundo pessoal melhora, o nosso mundo mais amplo também vai melhorar. Esta é a chave para o desenvolvimento de uma civilização melhor em Urântia: o mundo chegará mais perto da perfeição no mesmo ritmo em que os seres humanos se esforçarem para alcançar a perfeição em suas próprias vidas.
O nível de progresso de qualquer civilização é simplesmente a soma do progresso individual de cada indivíduo. Somente quando todos e cada um de vocês se esforçarem para ser o melhor que vocês podem ser, o seu mundo vai ser também melhor. Esforce-se para tornar-se melhor a cada dia e seguir a inspiração que o Pai tem colocado dentro de seu ser, para continuar progredindo e crescendo. Esta é a melhor coisa que você pode fazer para a humanidade e para o seu mundo. Thought Adjuster: “Many movements taking place in several parts of this world are just manifestations of higher consciousness that many are experiencing. Some things that had been accepted until now will not be tolerated anymore. The abuses and falsehoods that remained ignored before are being denounced now because they go against the new ideals that are arising in the minds of members of the civilization of this world.
“Many of these movements are considered only as ways to promote political, economical or social reforms; however, they all contain the seed of a desire to make this world a better place where all human beings have access to the same opportunities and all people live in a state of true equality.
“Many more “revolutions” may yet be needed in this world in order to overcome the many problems and puzzlements that have spread everywhere. It is advisable not to lose sight of the final goal in any reform movement that is promoted — the elevation and consideration of all people as members of the same planetary family, as children of the same Father.
“The only social religion that has to spread throughout the world is the one that states that we are all brothers and sisters — all equally children of the same celestial Father. The way each person calls that Father or how that person relates to Him is a private matter. The way in which each child finds his or her path to the Father is unique and individual.
“The world in which we live is a direct result of what we wish and desire as individuals and as a group. As our personal world improves, our world in general will improve. This is the key to the development of a better civilization in Urantia: your world will move closer to perfection at the same pace as human beings strive for perfection in their own life.
“The level of progress of any civilization is simply the sum of the individual progress of each individual. Only when each and every one of you endeavor to be the best you can be will your world be better as well. Strive to become better every day and to follow the inspiration your Father has placed within your being to keep progressing and growing. This is the best thing you can do for humanity and for your world. The changes you make in yourself and the experiences that make you attain new realizations and values will serve to illuminate others — even beyond your personal reach since all experiences of spiritual value are treasured by the Supreme Being.”
